Title of the presentation: Subversion's release process
Level: Advanced
Date and time: Wednesday, 28th of October 2009, 11:15am - 12:00am
Room: Madrid
Abstract: It will answer questions such as how a release of Subversion is made, how Subversion's developers try to ensure the quality of a release, how fixes are made to a stable release line, and how Subversion releases reach their users through various binary package providers.
It will also highlight current problems in the release process, explain what particular problems past releases of Subversion had and why, and discuss with the audience how Subversion's users could help ensure that future releases of Subversion will be of higher quality than or at least of equal quality to our past releases.
